Star Seedlings Family and Childcare Centre in
Our program statement reflects our core values: we honour the body, soul, and spirit of the child. Our curriculum is designed to care for children through individual interactions, careful attention to their physical, social, and emotional needs, and by providing stability through consistency. As play is the foundation for all learning, children engage in self-directed play both indoors and during our extended outdoor play periods.
At Star Seedlings, we create an environment where children are at the centre of everything we do. Our program offers a lower child to staff ratio, supporting sufficient time to complete your duties while allowing many opportunities to build relationships with the children in your care. Star Seedlings is screen and electronics free, with a unique and refreshing approach to observation and documentation of learning.
We are looking for a caregiver who is joyful and warm, with strong communication skills, and who has enthusiasm for life and learning. The ideal applicants cherish children, possess a positive attitude, are receptive to feedback and coaching, and enjoy working collaboratively with others. A love for singing and crafting is an asset (i.e., knitting, sewing, crochet, art)
