Caring for Kids New to Canada was developed by the Canadian Pediatric Society and informed by a range of experts and organizations. It is an online resource designed to assist professionals in providing quality care to immigrant and refugee families and children. This resource provides evidence-based information on the following topics: mental health and development, health promotion, culture and health, and much more.

The Blue Book is the "Directory of Community Services for Waterloo Region," a comprehensive listing of local human service agencies. There are two versions available. The print version features cross-referenced Name and Subject Indexes for quick access to agency information. The electronic version provides keyword-searching and reporting capabilities.

The Child Wellbeing Dashboard is a user-friendly platform housing data on indicators of child wellbeing in an organized, easy to interpret manner. The Child Wellbeing Dashboard is connected to an interactive map of Waterloo Region’s neighbourhoods. This allows the data to be mapped by neighbourhood, making it possible for users to visualize the differences between neighbourhoods to better understand the strengths and needs in the communities that they live in and serve.

Community Fit for Children was created by the Early Years Data Analysis Specialist who supports the community by providing resources aimed at measuring child outcomes and community program capacity in Waterloo Region. Through research and local data analysis they provide community organizations with evidence based program planning.

Our Place Family Resource and Early Years Centre is a place for parents, caregivers and their children. It is a place that offers Early Learning and Parenting Support programs to encourage the optimal development of children from birth up to and including age 6.
