The Hanen Centre focuses on early language intervention for children with language delays. It has since developed three other areas of expertise, each concerned with promoting the communication development of young children. This website has resources for educators, tips for parents, and current research related to language development.

The Encyclopedia on Early Childhood Development was developed by the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development (CEECD) and the Strategic Knowledge Cluster on Early Child Development (SKC-ECD). The Encyclopedia is an up-to-date comprehensive, reliable and easy-to-use reference tool. It is a unique and free resource devoted to promoting accessibility and knowledge transfer of the best knowledge on early childhood development.

Healthy Baby, Healthy Brain, is a website with a focus to help parents and educators support early brain development.

Infant Mental Health Promotion (IMHP) is an independently run, not for profit organization operating within the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. The goal of IMHP is to promote the development of infants (0-3) through education, information dissemination, networking and advocacy.

Nipissing District Developmental Screen (ndds), is an innovative developmental checklist for infants and children up to 6 years of age, to be completed by a parent or health/child care professional. Early identification is the first step in early intervention. This tool is available at no cost to you.
