Location: Various Licensed Childcare Centres and Before & After School Programs around Waterloo Region

Hours & Compensation:

Permanent Full Time                                    
Start Date: ASAP
 
Pay Rate: $23.76 per hour (based on funding availability)
 
Hours/Shift: Monday to Friday, 37.5 per week (7.5 hours per day). Floater will be deployed to various Childcare buildings depending on daily needs of the program.

Contributions & Impact:
YW Kitchener-Waterloo requires an energetic, motivated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to support children’s learning and development from infancy to school age. As an RECE at the YWKW, you will strive to support children with their overall physical, mental, and social development. You will guide and supervise learning opportunities based on children’s interests and foster cooperative social behaviours through games and group projects to support developmentally appropriate relationships
with other children and adults. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills while fostering positive relationships with children, families, and team educators.
 
 
Mandatory Requirements
  • Registered Early Childhood Educator Diploma
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check document
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
  • Vaccine Verification - As a condition of employment you are required to provide confirmation that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 or have proof of valid exemption satisfactory to the employer. You must acknowledge and agree to comply with any future vaccine policy requirements as an ongoing condition of employment at the YW Kitchener-Waterloo.
