Full-Day Professional Learning (In person) - Monday, October 19, 2026
We are so excited to share more information about our upcoming Fall Professional Learning Day at Kitchener Auditorium! Doors will open at 8am, with programming starting at 9am. We will spend the morning together and then teams will travel back to their programs for team learning in the afternoon. Here’s a preview of what’s in store:

Doors will open at 7:45am for a continental breakfast, with programming beginning at 8:30am and concluding at 12:00pm. This event is open to supervisors, managers, directors, and owners working across the early years and child care sector in the Region of Waterloo. Here's a preview of what's in store:

- Explore how workplace culture can support employee well-being, connection, and engagement. Jennifer Moss will share practical strategies for creating workplace environments where people feel valued, supported, and inspired.
- Through interactive discussions and reflections with local EYCC leaders, participants will explore ways to sustain equity and inclusion commitments, support staff learning, strengthen family partnerships, and embed inclusive practices into everyday program experiences.
