Community Services Manager

Kinbridge Community Association (KCA) is a grass roots organization providing recreation, education and social services and programs in two Neighourhoods in South Cambridge. 

Mission

Kinbridge Community Association actively engages and empowers community through positive relationship building and the facilitation of programs and services that embrace equity, inclusion and diversity.

We are seeking a passionate ambassador who is committed to achieving our mission through strengthening our neighbourhoods using a capacity building model.  You will work closely with the Executive Director achieving KCA’s strategic priorities. This leadership position is responsible for managing and developing the social service and human resource components of our organization.  This includes organizational administration as well as staff and program management.  You will offer essential support to the Executive Director and ongoing coaching and supervision of your staff team.  You will represent the organization and neighbourhood perspective on various committees and working groups to address current trends and future opportunities for all children, youth, families and individuals in our neighbourhood.

This is an hourly position based on 35 hours per week. KCA offers competitive wages and benefits package.

Education: community development, human resources, social work, program development or equivalent

Experience: human resources, community development and social services

Competencies:       

Knowledge of Community Development
Human Resources Management
Program Planning and Management
