Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP) - director

POSITION: Director
REPORTS TO: Executive Director

Position Profile: To provide;
  • Leadership in the supervision, co-ordination, planning and delivery of programs, and the development of new projects and services for Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP)
  • Responsibility for operations and program outcomes
  • Responsibility for development, planning and implementation of standards and accountability supporting the ambition statement and strategic plan.
The incumbent will be the designated lead in the absence of the Executive Director (E.D.)

Major Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop and implement research based evaluation for all programs
  • Support the management team in developing responsive community planning following effective practice principles for community planning, to ensure meeting the needs of the communities served by CDRCP
  • Work collaboratively with Executive Director, and Managers to identify local service opportunities and capacity for enhanced services, new program development and/or expansion that aligns with CDRCP’s overall strategic and operational planning
  • Conceptualize, design, research and prepare related program and service proposals for the organization
  • Work with the management team to ensure staff professional learning and mentoring plans are linked to effective practices, legislation, program outcomes and the overall strategic plan
  • Manage innovative service delivery utilizing technology
  • Manage and forecast program budgets
  • Represent CDRCP with current partners, funders, stakeholders, and donors as well as seek out and build relationships with new partners, funders and donors.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Community Development, Developmental Services, Research and Evaluation or related fields  5+ years’ progressive experience in leadership and management including demonstrated ability to deliver inclusive leadership, coaching and mentoring
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, conflict resolution and organizational skills
  • Project Management certification (PMP) an asset
  • French, an asset
  • Second language, an asset
  • Clear criminal reference check required
  • Applicant must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle
