Perth Care For Kids invites INTERNAL and External applicants for the position of Child Care Coordinator to oversee Off-Site Programs including the Before/After School Programs at Upper Thames Elementary School, Main site and Milverton Public School, the Nursery School Programs at Main Site and Milverton Public School, as well as support for the Main Site and New Centre Coordinators.
Permanent range 35 to 37.5 hours per week
The successful candidate will be able to oversee the day to day operations of the before/after school programs and nursery school programs in accordance with Perth Care For Kids Policies and Procedures and the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014. Responsibilities will include having staff report directly to this position and monitoring staff’s performance. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of children’s files, daily logs, registration forms, medical records, permission forms, food allergies, special diet requirements, and maintaining a system to record the daily attendance and plan for children’s schedules. Hours will need to be flexible in order to ensure overseeing the Before/After programs during open and closing times of these programs. This position will also support the two Child Care Coordinators for the main site and the new build.

Qualifications
- Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators – R.E.C.E.
- proof of current Standard First Aid Training including infant/child CPR
- a minimum experience of 4 years working with licensed child care programs
- skills including knowledge in the Child Care and Early Years Act, the ability to work as part of a team, flexibility, positive leadership, good organization and effective communication
