About Cooks Network:
Networks are designed as a place for likeminded professionals to come together and provide the opportunity to share ideas, exchange resources and information.
They offer support and create a welcoming environment where you can learn side by side with your peers and coworkers in the field of early learning and care. Each Network is supported by Raising the Bar (RTB) and the Professional Resource Centre in the Region of Waterloo. Our facilitators are dedicated members of our community, volunteering their time, knowledge, and experience to foster the professional growth of each individual member.
Qualifications/Roles:
We are looking for dedicated professionals currently working in early learning setting to support this network by planning 2 -3 meetings annually and attending a large “Umbrella Network” planning table (where all network leaders come together to discuss challenges, share ideas and receive new information) hosted at the PRC. Network meetings are generally 1.5 – 2 hours in length and it is the responsibility of the leaders to plan and facilitate these meetings, reporting back to the larger Umbrella Network.
We ask that leaders consider a 1 -2 year commitment. Each team consists of 2-3 leaders to share the responsibilities.
