SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- E.C.E. or equivalent education/experience
- Must be reliable with a good attitude
- Must have proven communication and public relation skills to effectively deal with families, children, public and volunteers
- Must be flexible and organized and be able to work with little supervision
- Must be able to work as a team member effectively communicating and sharing information with other on site HSCG staff
- Computer knowledge
- Must have a recent First Aid Certificate
- Must complete a Criminal Reference Check
FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Run an established co-op preschool two mornings per week
- Plan, organize and facilitate the Early Years Family Time program three mornings a week
- Work with Peer Health Worker to bring in resources, plan off-site trips, guest speakers as needed
- Maintain supplies necessary for programs
- Meet weekly with Executive Director for information sharing and to maintain a co-operative working team atmosphere.
- Submit report to the Executive Director which is due the last Monday of the Month
- Provide the Executive Director with statistics from Early Years Programs on a monthly basis as prescribed by the HSCG reporting structure
- Be familiar with all programs and services offered by HSCG, MCNA and CHCG at Mill Courtland Community Centre
- Promote them throughout the community
- Perform other related duties as required /requested
Wage Rate: To Be Discussed
Hours of Work: Maximum 18 hours per week for 10 weeks. Five mornings commencing Monday April 3rd and ending Friday June 9th
