​Lifeguard
Bingemans
Lifeguard is responsible for the safety of all guests in the pool area. Assists in providing exceptional service to guests while carrying out all responsibilities of lifeguarding and maintaining a waterpark area.

Job Overview:
· Responsible for maintaining guest safety in the wave pool as well as all pool areas, demonstrating professional and consistent adherence to all pool safety standards.
· Effectively guards all pool guests and maintain a safe environment.
· Maintains safe use of the pool slide/water features and does not allow dangerous activities.
· Responsible for maintaining proper positioning, visibility and condition of pool safety and rescue equipment.
· Performs daily safety checks of pool area and slide for potential hazards.
· Perform regularly assigned maintenance duties including opening/closing procedures, pool tests, and pool maintenance.
· Properly document all maintenance duties, pool test results, and emergency procedures.
· Adheres to all pool safety standards, including safety procedures for adverse weather conditions.
· Executes all water safety and rescue procedures in accordance with current Life Saving Society and Bingemans’ standards.
· Performs proper opening and closing procedures.
· Ensure that the standards of Regulation 565 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act and Part V of the Amusement Devices Act are always followed.
· Uphold and perform to the standards set by the Lifesaving Society of Canada.
· Comply with relevant health and safety laws as they apply under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, the Regulations and the WHMIS Regulations.
· Participates in ALL staff training lessons, both the initial and on-going training.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Guard, or the management.

Job Requirements:
· Minimum 16 years of age.
· National Lifeguard Service (NLS) pool required.
· Must have previous guarding experience after NLS award.
· Standard First Aid, CPR Level “C” and AED.
· National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Waterpark (training provided).
· Currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary education.

Working Conditions:
· Varied hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Outdoor environment, various weather conditions.

Waterslide Attendant is responsible for the safety of all guests in the waterpark, specifically when riding the waterslides and at Spray ‘N Play.

Job Overview:

E-sports Coach/Day Camp Counsellors

Esports Coach/Day Camp Counsellors are dedicated to growing the physical, mental and social aspects of the individual to help develop a well-rounded individual player. They are responsible fordaily supervision of an assigned group of children as well as running a weekly program developed by Sports Camps Canada, coaching and running Fortnite and Rocket League applications.

Job Overview:

· Rocket League – a ranking of Champion 1 or above.
· Must be 18 years of age at minimum.
· Currently enrolled in High School or a Post-Secondary program at College or University.
· Emergency First Aid and CPR C or higher.
· High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development training required.
· Must be willing to attend High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development training if not already trained.
· Experience in program delivery for children preferred.
· Previous Day Camp Counsellor experience preferred.
· Police Record Check required (criminal background check).
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge on special needs/behavioral children.
· High energy level required to keep staff and children motivated.
· Ability to walk around the park and participate in activities with campers.

Full Time Nanny

Seeking a full-time Nanny who will come to our home daily from the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday until in-class schooling (September) resumes.

The hourly rate is between $16  - $18 per hour. 

We are seeking someone who has a keen interest in working with children between the ages of six and eight. We have two energetic girls looking to explore the summer with an energetic, compassionate caregiver.

TENANT SUPPORT WORKER
Lincoln Road Supportive Housing
(unionized Position)


RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of a multi-disciplinary staff team, you will provide assistance to tenants living in YW Supportive Housing to support their independent living and maintain their housing. Provide immediate support to tenants in conflict following an established Conflict Resolution Program and respond to requests for support and crisis intervention. Establish positive relationships with tenants and participate in the creation of a stable, secure environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of the impact of trauma and abuse and the impact of poverty and homelessness on individuals of all ages, normally obtained through the completion of a 2-year college program in Social Services and 2 years work experience in a residential or supportive housing environment. 
  • Knowledge in harm reduction philosophies and techniques, as well as crisis and suicide intervention skills
  • Experience working within the parameters of a Conflict Resolution Program.
  • Understanding of current legislation pertaining to housing, advocacy and tenant/landlord rights, usually obtained through a general knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act.
  • Ability to think independently, set priorities and resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Valid certifications in Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and Overdose prevention training.
