My name is Melissa Cook and I graduated from the ECE program at Conestoga in June of this year. I have obtained a position working with the Waterloo Region District School Board, as a Designated Early Childhood Educator, within the extended day program at Trillium Public School in Kitchener. This upcoming school year, my teaching partners and I are looking for student volunteers to help facilitate the Strong Start Program, with an emphasis on the Letters, Sounds, and Words program. This program will be will be facilitated for an hour or two a week, depending on the availability of our volunteers.
