Job Description & Requirements

In order to be eligible to apply to this vacancy you must be on the WRDSB DECE Supply List as of the date of this posting.

Candidates that apply to this posting who are not on the WRDSB DECE Supply list will have their names removed prior to the posting being released to the Extended Day Manager.

WRDSB Supply DECEs who are interested and are not already committed to another long term assignment, may apply to this vacancy. 

The successful candidate will be committed to working in Kitchener/Waterloo and Area Elementary Schools offering the WRDSB Extended Day Program. As early as the evening prior or within 1 hour of the shift start time, the WRDSB EasyConnect Operator will confirm the location of the work (school and classroom) via telephone. Successful candidates will work and be paid for a seven hour shift guaranteed daily, including for PD Days. 

Term of assignment(s) is subject to change with appropriate notice. Individuals currently in an assignment for a period of time that extends into the assignment of the long-term occasional position(s) posted herein are not eligible to apply.
