Brief Description:
SimplySmart Child Care Centre is now looking for an experienced Teacher in their Infant, Toddler and Preschool classroom to start immediately. Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset but not mandatory. Experience with program development, managing all the ministry requirements & thinking out of the box are requirements for being a part of the SimplySmart Team. A key requirement for teachers is to enjoy being around children and their ability to engage children. We are a blend of philosophies and so is our program which is a combination of academics and enrichment programming for children.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications: 1. A diploma in early childhood education from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology. 2. At least 2 years of Experience working in a day care environment. 3. Prepared and developed programs for children in different age groups. 4. Innovative and dynamic personality. 5. Ability to work independently in different environments and with different people. 6. Strong interpersonal skills to deal with children, teachers and parents. 7. Ability to engage and teach little children and get down to their level every day. 7. CPR and first aid trained. 8. Knowledge and understanding of the CCEYA.
Pay: $15-$16 an hour depending on experience
