Job Overview
Pluto Daycare Cambridge is under new Ownership and we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Early Childhood Teacher will work collaboratively with parents and staff to ensure each child’s needs are met and their potential is maximized.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing feedback to parents as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and creativity.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience of all students.
  • Utilize computer operation skills to manage classroom records, lesson plans, and communication effectively.
  • Organize classroom materials and resources to ensure an efficient learning environment.
  • Manage time effectively to balance teaching responsibilities with administrative tasks.
Experience
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education is required- please do not apply if you don't have this
  • Experience working with young children in a classroom setting is essential.
  • Strong understanding of 'How does learning happen'.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and resources efficiently.
  • Excellent time management abilities to balance multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
  • Familiarity with educational technology such as using a daycare application on a tablet.
