Administrative Coordinator

Position Type: Full-time in-person 35 hours/week
Reports to: Executive Director
Wilmot & Wellesley Resource Centre (WWRC) is a charitable, multi-service organization, focusing on strong and healthy communities where all individuals are accepted and where there are opportunities to participate and grow.

Wilmot & Wellesley Resource Centre Resource Centre is currently hiring a full-time Administrative Coordinator for 35 hours per week. This is an in-person role and will be based out of our New Hamburg office.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is accountable for the efficient day to day operation of the office and supporting the work of management and other staff; effective control and accountability of direct office budgeted expenses; and a positive liaison with participants, co-workers, volunteers, community organizations, and related service agencies. The role will provide administrative support and coordination to the Executive Director as needed. This is a supervisory role with responsibility for the Receptionist, Events & Promotion Lead and office volunteers.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced administrator and supervisor with excellent communication skills, a strong sense of confidentiality, and a willingness to work together on a team or independently. A commitment to understanding and upholding the mission and values of Wilmot & Wellesley Resource Centre is expected.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience. Previous experience working within the not-for-profit industry would be a definite asset.
• Post secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven office administration skills including basic bookkeeping skills
• Experience working with children, families, individuals from diverse cultural & socio-economic backgrounds
• Strong interpersonal skills including compassion, discernment, & the modeling of appropriate boundaries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Exceptional customer service skills
• Be able to problem solve, multi-task, manage time well, and prioritize responsibilities and deadlines
• Proficient in the use of a variety of office applications and software (ie. Microsoft Office)
• Working knowledge of WordPress, Canva, Donor Perfect and CRM/database software as well as social media knowledge and skills would be an asset. The successful candidate must be able to provide a clean Vulnerable Sector Policy Check as a condition of employment.

​DETAILS: Full-time 35 hours/week, $30.00 hour starting wage, expected start date is early June.
