The Former Networks of Waterloo Region are shifting to Communities of Practice (CoP)!
The Networks of Waterloo Region are currently undergoing a shift to reflect best and promising practices within our sector, as well as current research. We have therefore come together from our age focused silos to create a larger community of practice. We believe that CoPs are an opportunity for like-minded community members to come together and collectively participate in reflective practice. They offer a chance to come and listen or actively engage in discussions that will help build a deeper knowledge of our field of practice. These unique opportunities offer a safe place for collaborative learning and inquiry, critical reflection and support brainstorming for the sharing of ideas, resources and experiences.
What can you expect from your local CoP?
- A welcoming atmosphere that shares information, supports and encourages participants to openly share, while still respecting confidentiality in the work that we do and care we provide
- Organized facilitators that bring and share current information for dialogue, reflection and brainstorming
- Resources, discussion and information that has been shared and gathered will be recorded and distributed to the group through e-mail or made available through the PRC
